ABOUT US
Pauline and Ian Richardson came to Yowah over 20 years ago.
In addition to raising their three children and doing a little mining, they built up the caravan park.
No mean feat when you consider that electricity has only arrived in recent years.

The early years were a long way from the comforts that most families take for granted today. No phone, no school, no TV or radio but plenty of dust and heat. The kids did all their schooling by correspondence and School of the Air.
As there were no other children locally, they relied on each other for company.

They developed extremely inventive ways for conning mum out of lessons!
